Some Pictures and Information from my garden
Tiny tobacco sprouts emerging from the starter soil.
A couple weeks later, the different strains, separated by spacers are growing like crazy!
Transplanted and growing larger in a bigger grow tray.
A couple months later and the maturing tabacco plants start putting up their flower heads.
Transferred into the garden, in prepared soil, the young tobacco plants grow fast in the direct sun.
You can starting picking bottom tobacco leaves as soon as you see some yellowing in the leaf, for some early smokes. You have to see some yellowing on a tomato before it will ripen inside, same with a tobacco leaf. In fact, tomatoes are related to the tobacco plant.
Yellowing leaves ready to be hung to air cure.
Regular commercial tobacco flowers, (Latin: Nicotiana Tabacum) Bees and Hummingbirds are attracted to the tropical looking tobacco flowers.
Shaman's tobacco (rustica) flowers. (Latin: Nicotiana rustica) The yellow flowers look a lot different than regular commercial tobacco flowers.
Shaman's tobacco (rustica) only grows to 3 or 4 feet compared to the 7 or 8 feet of strains like Kentucky Burley. This very potent tobacco is fine for blending into regular tobacco to boost nicotine. Makes a fine natural pesticide for the garden as well.
Tobacco seed pods beginning to turn brown and ripen on the plant. Lots of tobacco seeds in each pods for next year's crop! Smokes for free. :)
Seed pods must be allowed to ripen somewhat on the plant and then picked at the right time to finish drying perfectly inside for good quality and viable seed. 1000 + of my high quality viable seed included with each strain you order from me.
Tobacco naturally air curing in my shed. It's now ready to be chopped, made into smokes and enjoyed. Cost $ next to nothing $, just the way I like it! I'll explain the whole process to you in my easy 6 step instructions included in your tobacco grow kit.
Whether you want to grow a field of tobacco or just a few patio plants in pots, these seeds will work wonders for you. I had one customer who was growing my tobacco indoors, under lights and made his own pipe tobacco! Some folks blend their own tobacco and produce their smokes for free, some people like to grow just a few plants and mix their homegrown tobacco with commercial tobacco and still save a lot of $$money$$!
